The higher Bonus Level, the higher equipment attributes.
How to increase Bonus Level You can use Super Yellow Stones to increase the Bonus Level. 
Every 5 levels are a phase. If you use Super Yellow Stones to break the phase, it is 100% successful. If you use them to increase the Bonus Level in the same phase, it may fail and the bonus may be decreased. 
But it will not be decreased to the lower phase
