You can win battles when all enemies are defeated party's HP reaches 0.

Essentially, all enemies must be defeated to win, however, some battles may have different requirements.
Some battles may require an enemy’s HP to reach a certain amount or a certain amount of turns/time must pass before it ends.

When using Charge, Break, and Assault skill together in a Skill Link, the effect of those linked skills increase.

Enemies can also use Incarnate Skills.
Once an enemy's Incarnation gauge reaches 100%, they'll use their Incarnate Skill on their next turn.
If a character is hit by an enemy's Incarnate Skill, they will be knocked back and possibly put your team at a disadvantage.
You can attack with a normal attack or use a "Break" skill to lower an enemy's gauge.

When an enemy's Incarnation gauge lowers, so will their skill's damage.
If their gauge drops to 0%, they will be unable to use their Incarnate Skill and knock them back.

Sword Art Online Alicization Rising Tip #8: Normal Attack.

Attack is a command that a character can perform when it’s their turn in battle.

When choosing Attack, the character will attack with their equipped weapon.
Damage can be dealt to enemies without using MP.
Also, when choosing Attack, the character’s next turn will come sooner compared to when using Sword Skills.

Sword Art Online Alicization Rising Tip #9: Switch Combination.

After a character uses an Incarnate Skill, all party members whose turn comes before the next enemy can attack together in what is called a Link.
When Switch Combination is activated, those characters will unleash their Sword Skill without depleting their MP.

In a Switch Combination, you can select any Sword Skill that character is learning.
Confirm your characters’ skills and link them to deal massive damage!

Final Attack
After linking your attacks, all characters will come together for one final attack.
The more links you made, the more powerful the attack becomes. Set your timeline accordingly and link as many of your party members as you can!

Sword Art Online Alicization Rising Tip #10: Incarnate Skill and Knockback.

When a party member uses their Incarnate Skill, the enemy will be knocked back and their turn will be sent one place back on the timeline.
Knocking back enemies gives you a greater advantage to get more attacks in.

*If an enemy is knocked back and another Incarnate Skill is used before the next enemy’s turn, the timeline position for the next enemy won’t change.
(There is only one type of Knockback. Same aliments cannot be inflicted twice at the same time.)


Sword Art Online Alicization Rising Tip #11: Timeline.

During battle, there’s a series of small character icons at the top of the screen.
The character icon on the left side is the current character’s turn.
Once that character has completed their turn, the next character icon will move ahead and the previous character icon will move to the back of the line. This cycle repeats for all icons.

Checking Actions
You can anticipate an enemy’s attack by tapping on the timeline to display their next move.

Danger Icon
When an enemy plans to unleash a powerful attack, a “Danger” icon will appear above the timeline.
These attacks may be strong enough to take out your entire party, so it’s best to take caution and plan your next course of action.

When Stay is used in battle, that character’s turn will skip and the next character will take its turn.

This is useful for when you want to make a Skill Link or line up more characters for a Switch Combination attack.

Sword Art Online Alicization Rising Tip #13: Incarnate Skill.

Incarnate Skills are powerful special attacks that have certain conditions before they can be used.

When a characters attacks with a normal attack or Sword Skill, their Incarnation charges.
When a character’s Incarnate gauge, located at the bottom right side of the screen, reaches 100% they can then unleash their “Incarnate Skill”.
Using a Charge skill during a turn increases a character’s Incarnation faster than other attacks.

*Incarnate Skills vary with each character.
*Incarnate Skills cannot be used until the gauge is charged to 100%.
*Once an Incarnate Skill is performed, a Recast Turn will occur preventing the character from using the skill again for a certain amount of turns.
*Recast Turns vary by each character.

Sword Art Online Alicization Rising Tip #14: Sword Skills.

Using Sword Skills cost MP, but deal greater damage than regular attacks and may have special effects.

Characters can have at max three types of Sword Skills.

Weapons other than swords have skills, scared arts, or secret techniques that are used as Sword Skills.
Some characters may already have Sword Skills. They can also learn new skills by from “Skill Slot” on character details.
After unlocking Skill Slots, they can be enhanced to increase performance.


Sword Art Online Alicization Rising Tip #15: Basic Battle Tactics.

Out move your enemies and anticipate their attacks to win.

When an enemy has charged its Incarnate guage, use a Break Skill to drop it down to 0% and weaken them.
Charge your ally's Incarnate gauge with a Charge Skill. When it reaches 100%, use their Incarnate Skill and then an Assault Skill with a Switch Combination to deal major damage instantly.
