Amity is the relationship between you and the NPC in the game.
It reveals the story on how the NPC are interconnected to each other.
As a player, you will act as a messenger and mediator between them.
Blue Circle means the NPC have likeable relationship towards another.
While Red Circle means they hate each other.
Look at the column here, and you can see the level of your Amity.

You'll get 399 EXP for each Amity Quest.
You need contribution to hire worker at the pub.
The higher the worker level, the more contribution required.
You also need contribution to rent equipment from city major.
As you advanced further to the game and enter bigger cities.
The contribution requirements goes higher, and the relics get stronger.
Amity Achievement Reward.
High Amity Points with NPC will unlock amity Prize.
Required Amity Points of each NPC can be seen here.
Besides useful crafting items, you also get special benefit.
Such as increased daily quests prize, and 5% discount on potion shop.
Current Contribution is the one you'll use to Rent equip or hire worker and that's the one you'll be needing mostly.
Hiring Worker will consume your contribution points. But if you rent relic and switch to other relic on different cities.
The contribution point will be returned. So pay attention on spending your points.
"Interest" Shows topics which you can talk about with the NPC.
This action increase your amity, but will consume your energy.
"Quest" will give significant Amity increase.
But be aware, other than increasing Amity and give prizes
some quest can also decrease amity towards certain NPC, but don't worry, minus amity can be fixed with "Interest".
