Tales of Wind & Laplace M: Assassin Skill Build for Leveling/Grinding (PvM)
PvP are short fights and they focuses more on stuns, stealth, heal. buffs and debuffs.
Bosses and NPC's are different, they have High HP and it needs high burst damage which Assassin lacks.
Assassins strengths are AoE damage skills, best for killing a lot of monsters quickly and buffs.debuffs skills for PvP.
Leveling/Grinding (PvM) Skill Build Order:
- Blade Assault: Level 5.
- Cross Cleave: Level 5.
- Assassination Art: Level 5.
- Shadow Strike : Level 5.
- Shadow Strike: Level 10.
- Blade Assault: Level 10.
- Cross Cleave Level 10.
- Assassination Art Level 10.
There are no passive skills allotment for Lv 1-50 Assassin because passive skills are useful for PvP, Hard Difficulty Events, NPC and Bosses.
Blade Assault
Deals AoE damage without Combo Cost Point and low cooldown of 6 seconds.
You'll gain 2 combo points upon hitting a target.
Leveling / Easy-Medium Difficulty Events: Blade Assault Lv. 10 once all 3 active skills is Lv 5.
---Psychology (Requires Blade Assault Level 5)---
Blade Assault Level 1 Stun Duration = 0.7 second
Blade Assault Level 5 Stun Duration = 1.5 second
Leveling / Easy-Medium Difficulty Events: No skill point allotment.
Shadow Strike
Similar with Blade Assault (Almost Same AoE Damage, No Combo Cost Point, Low Cooldown 10 seconds and you'll gain 1 combo point).
It can also recovers own Health Points by 10% Skill Damage of Shadow Strike.
Grinding / Easy-Medium Difficulty Events: Get Lv. 5 Shadow Strike once it is available and go for Lv. 10 Shadow Strike when Blade Assault, Cross Cleave and Assassination Art is at Lv. 5.
---Technique (Requires Shadow Strike Level 5)---
Technique Level 1 Additional HP conversion of 30% Skill Damage of Shadow Strike.
Technique Level 5 Additional HP conversion of 150% Skill Damage of Shadow Strike.
Leveling / Easy Events: No skill point allotment.
Medium Difficulty Events: Get atleast Lv. 1 Technique.
Cross Cleave
Deals High AoE Damage (Twice Damage of Blade Assault/Shadow Strike). Doesn't have cooldown but it costs 3 combo points.
Grinding / Easy-Medium Difficulty Events: Only go for Cross Cleave Lv 10 if you already have Blade Assault Lv. 10 and Shadow Strike Lv. 10 because those skills should be cast first to gain Combo Points.
---Phantom (Requires Cross Cleave Level 5)---
Cross Cleave increases your Dodge Rate by 40% for 1.2 seconds at Lv. 1 or 2 seconds at Lv. 5.
Grinding / Easy-Medium Difficulty Events: No skill point allotment.
Assassination Art
Deals a little bit lower damage of Cross Cleave. Doesn't have cooldown but it costs 4 combo points. AoE damage and Stuns enemies for 2 seconds.
Grinding / Easy-Medium Difficulty Events: Assassination Art Lv. 10 once you have Blade Assault/Shadow Strike/Cross Cleave at Lv 10.
---Deadly (Requires Assassination Art Level 5)---
Assassination Art decreases the healing rate of the target by 55% for Lv. 1 or 75% for Lv. 5.
Grinding / Easy-Medium-Hard Difficulty Events: Don't get this! Spend your Talent Skill Points to other useful skills.
Void Phantom
Turns into a shadow, receiving a stealth effect that lasts for 5 seconds, during which time increase Dodge Rate by 30% and Movement Speed by 23% (Lv. 1 Void Phantom) or 50% (Lv. 10 Void Phantom) and removes all control effects and gains 1 combo point.
Leveling up Void Phantom only provides a bonus 3% movement speed which is a measly upgrade.
The only reason you'll only upgrade it to Lv. 5 is when you go after Shadow Attack Passive Skill.
Grinding / Easy-Medium Difficulty Events: You don't need this passive skill since you don't need stealth effect for killing weaker monsters.
---Shadow Attack (Requires Void Phantom Level 5)---
Void Phantom Increases your Crit Rate by 30% for 4 seconds (Lv.1 Shadow Attack) or 8 seconds (Lv.5 Shadow Attack).
Grinding / Easy-Medium Difficulty Events: Don't get Shadow Attack since Void Phantom provides no bonus damage and you already have 4 active skills (Cross Cleave, Blade Assault, Assassination Art and Shadow Strike).
