Tap Tales: Idle Expedition Android/iOS Tip #1: Combat Formation.

There is a Triangle Formation that consist of a 1 front position and 2 at the rear battle position which are facing to the enemy's right position battle.
The front runner takes the damage first and the rear battle position can only be damage if the front runner is dead.
It is very obvious that the front runner should be a Knight or Paladin because they have very high Hit Points compared to the other classes.
The only difference between those are their ATK/DEF TYPE, if it is Physical or Magical and it is currently bugged so there's no difference between Physical and Magical attributes.
Since Physical and Magical are currently bugged in the game, you can already have a fixed lined up for combat formation, except for Weapons which I will discuss it about later.
If the front runner is either Knight or Paladin, which class is better for rear battle position?
Skills are divided into two types: The AoE Skill type and a Single Target Skill type.
Both Knight and Paladin has a single target skill type but their damage is lower compared to the other classes because they are tank type class.
The other two characters that has a single target skill type are Witch and Warrior, they have a higher attack damage compared to those knight and paladin but they have the same attack damage with Archer and Summoner.
Both Witch and Warrior has a 140% DMG Multiplier in their single target skill which is higher to the 100% DMG multiplier of Knight and Paladin.
However Archer and Summoner has a AoE skill type and their DMG Multiplier is only at 40%.
If you do the math, Archer and Summoner has a better DMG multiplier if the enemy count is 4 or more, because the total DMG multiplier output will be higher than the 140% DMG multiplier.
In normal grinding mode, you will face 6 enemy monsters and if you are facing a boss, then it will be 7 enemy monster which will give you a whooping 40x7= 280% DMG Multiplier!
So it is better to have both Archer and Summoner should be in the rear battle position because other powerful AoE skill dmg output.



Tap Tales: Idle Expedition Android/iOS Tip #2: Weapons.

Weapons in the game gives a better progress output compared to leveling up.
It is because Weapons has tiers, and each tiers gradually improves your character stats by around 1000% Hit Points if its a tank class type or Damage if it is a offensive class type.
You can also level up your owned enhancement if you got the same Weapons enhancement already. Only 1 same Weapons is required to level it up. However, it will only give you a little boost when you level it up.
Your goal is to obtain higher tier Weapons as you can, because having a higher tier Weapons is important rather than leveling your current tier Weapons.
So how to obtain higher tier Weapons? You can obtain it through the shop but you need to buy it and the shop has random selling items and can be refresh every 1 hour for free or if you want to refresh it without waiting, you can spend 60 rubies.
However Weapons in the shop will depends on your current progress which means you can't buy higher tier Weapons unless you are already at higher stages.
Fortunately you can still obtain higher tier Weapons through BOSS Dungeons. For every BOSS Dungeon, you need a key to enter and obtain random items which Weapons can be obtained at a higher chance.
Although it may still depends on your current progress as well, same with the shop but there is a simple trick that you do to obtain higher tier Weapons.

If you remember the TIP #1 which is the Combat Formation.
It's either level up your front runner or the battle rear position, it will still give you good progress regardless which class you level up.
However in BOSS dungeon, it will only requires you a specific rank level of atleast 1 character on your roster. You can choose any character but I recommend to focus on your front runner because you can maintain attack damage output while having a higher hit points specially on those stages that your front-runner dies.
Once you unlock a new BOSS dungeon, it will give you a chance to obtain higher tier Weapons which is your goal to gradually improve.
